Biography
I (Jenny Finney) grew up in Nottinghamshire dancing from the age of 3 years. I danced at many schools. At the age of 14 I danced at the Clothes Show live in Birmingham with the band "Five".
I have represented England in South Africa, bringing the trophy home for England. I trained at Urdang Academy in Covent Garden, London. I had the pleasure of meeting many famous people. I have worked with Trouble TV doing commercials for Pearson TV "BRING IT ON".
I was a dancer for an American Amateur Singer for MTV BASE (music video) and also Simon Webbes music video.
In 2002 I gained an injury which lead me into teaching dance. I taught for many dancing schools and I gained my dance teaches qualification with the IDTA and joined a Street dance Association.
I am now a freelance dance teacher, specialising in Hip Hop / Street at Performing Arts colleges LCPA, SLP, dance companies Momentum Dance and New English Contemporary Ballet. I do a lot of workshops for Schools, Youth Groups and College/Universities.
Dance...... It's a way of life!
